1. Who we are
GridEscape (“the Game”) is a puzzle game developed and published by BeliveApp Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you play the Game, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@beliveapptech.com.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no chat and no in-app purchases, and we do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal data.
Your game progress — levels, stars, scores, records, hints, streaks and your sound and vibration settings — is saved only on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers. The rankings screen currently shows only your own local records.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads appear between levels (interstitial ads) and when you choose to watch an ad for a reward such as extra hints (rewarded ads).
To deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process information from your device, such as:
- device and app information (device model, operating system, app version, language);
- the device’s IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location (country or region);
- advertising or app-set identifiers, where permitted;
- ad interaction data (for example, whether an ad was shown or tapped) and diagnostic data.
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by us, under Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Depending on your region and your choices, these ads may be personalized based on your interests or non-personalized. See section 5 for how to control this.
4. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The Game has no social features, chat, external sharing or in-app purchases.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will help you remove it.
5. Your consent and privacy choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game shows a consent message from Google’s User Messaging Platform before any ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Choices inside the Game.
On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
6. Device permissions
The Game only uses vibration (haptic feedback), which you can turn off in the Game’s settings, and the internet connection needed to load ads. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because your progress is stored only on your device, you control it completely:
- Settings → Reset Progress erases your levels, stars, records and streak;
- uninstalling the Game deletes all of its data from your device.
For data processed by Google for advertising, see Google’s privacy controls.
8. Security
We do not run servers that store player data. Communication between the Game and Google’s ad services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. Since we do not hold personal data about you, most requests concern data processed by Google; we will gladly help you with any request sent to contact@beliveapptech.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game changes, for example if we add online rankings or new features. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
